90 Day Fiancé- The Last Resort – The Resort From Hell?

For over a month, viewers of the 90 Day Fiancé franchise have been exposed to yet another spinoff – 90 Day Fiancé- The Last Resort. As exclusively reported here, this “couples therapy” show focuses on “fixing” broken relationships. The couples featured are Jovi and Yara, Ed and Liz, Kalani and Asuelu, Angela and Michael, and Molly and Kelly. The couples work with a team of therapists specializing in various subjects to help them get to the root of their issues.

As also previously reported – the therapy did work for one couple – Ed and Liz got married on August 29, 2023, in Bentonville, AR. The event was filmed – so one can assume viewers will see footage of their wedding on an upcoming episode of a 90 Day Fiancé spinoff.

The Resort where the cast members retreated to receive their therapy sessions is the Isla Bella Resort – located in Marathon, Florida – in the area known as “Florida Keys.” The Resort’s website boasts: “At the threshold of the iconic Seven Mile Bridge lies Isla Bella Beach Resort, the crown jewel of the Florida Keys. A lush, winding drive off the famed Overseas Highway transports guests to this private oasis, framed by a canopy of native plants and tropical greenery. Arriving at the stately lobby, visitors are greeted by their first view of the cerulean sea. Pristine white architecture and sandy beaches abound, providing guests a tranquil respite from the world beyond.”

According to Isla Bella’s website, some highlights guests can find are:

• one mile of waterfront & sandy beaches
• five oceanfront pools, including a
  4,500 square foot pool
• Multiple dining options, including a world-class Polynesian-inspired restaurant featuring the perfect blend of cuisine of the Pacific Rim with classic Keys seafood, beach bar, poolside food and beverage service, The Marketplace café, and grab-and-go
• Marina with water sports, including fishing charters, jet ski tours, harbor cruises, and kayak, snorkeling, and scuba diving trips
• 4,000 square-foot spa with five treatment rooms, a relaxation room with steam, and a selection of services
• 4,000 square foot conference center for groups and events from 25 to 300
• 1,000 Square foot state-of-the-art fitness center

Isla Bella Resort realizes “the little things make a big difference” and lists all the “little things” available to its guests.

With dining options like the Mahina restaurant, where guests can have dishes such as Kurobuta Pork Chop for $50 and Lobster Crusted Mahi-Mahi for $58.00 – guests can look forward to exciting dining options. There is also a spa – where guests can treat themselves to manicures, pedicures, or massages such as “innovative options like the Bella Momma Massage, you’re sure to find the perfect way to enjoy a blissful experience.”

According to some guests who stayed at the Resort while The Last Resort was filming – these massages should have been given away to the guests for free.

One guest was so close to the production that she snapped pictures of the cast and crew.

Another guest complained about camera crews filming children in the pool without permission.

This would seem to go against the Resort’s policy of unauthorized filming of guests.

All this chaos seems to back up the source’s insider knowledge about Angela’s loud and drunken behavior leading up to her being “evicted” from the Resort and escorted to the nearby Holiday Inn for the last few nights for filming. Check out this Instagram post from Merrypants with all the details.

While it is a nice hotel – the Holiday Inn is not the Isla Bella Resort.

Angela and Molly may be “besties” on screen – but Angela was allegedly NOT happy with her “bestie” when she was thrown under the bus by her. Allegedly, this was the last straw for the staff of Isla Bella, and she was “evicted” from the Resort. While her belongings were left in her room – she was forced to sleep elsewhere.
