Life After Lockup: Mike’s Manager Moka – Arrested?! – What Happened?!

UPDATE: April 15, 2023 – Moka has been released! Moka posted this update to his IG story. Moka thanks his supporters and while he respects “bloggers/outlets and fans alike” for their “due dillinfgence” – Moka reminds everyone to be “mindful”.

Mike Persaud’s manager Moka Blast a/k/a Lydell Birch has stirred up some controversy this season on Life After Lockup. He has outspoken opinions on Mike’s married life with Justine. He thinks that Mike is not putting music as a priority. Moka believes that Mike being a “married rapper” will affect potential opportunities in music. Moka was not happy when Mike announced that he and Justine are expecting another child.

As previously reported, Moka understands how to hustle. Moka’s current enterprises are 2hansum Barbershop and FGC Studios which he is listed as the current founder for both. Moka was also the Lead Audio/Video Engineer for “Blast Offf Television” for eight years. 

Now Moka may be facing the toughest battle to date. Michael shared to his social media about a serious incident that happened with Moka on the evening of Wednesday April 12, 2023.

Moka was sitting inside a residence located in Las Vegas giving a YouTube interview live when suddenly someone burst into the home. According to 8newsnow.com Moka a/k/a Lydell Birch shot and killed the intruder in the backyard of the home. The intruder had previously been in the driveway of the home hitting cars with a baseball bat and arguing with a woman.

The YouTube interview Moka was recording is below. At the thirty two minute mark is when Moka jumps up and then disappears from the screen. At approximately forty two minutes into the video the host tries to call Moka on his phone and receives no answer.

WOTSR spoke with a representative at Clark County Detention Center. At press time Moka is not under arrest. He is still in the interrogation/interview process with detectives. We will provide updates as they become available.
