Vanessa Provides An Update On Colt’s Progress

Colt Johnson and his mother, Debbie, are infamous for their co-dependent relationship with each other. Dating back to his first marriage to Larissa Dos Santos Lima, Colt, and Debbie sometimes had a toxic, unhealthy relationship with each other. Debbie got herself a “glow-up” on season 2 of the 90 Day Fiance: The Single Life. After striking out several times in love, Debbie seems to have met her match with Tony Starcevich.

Colt himself, however, suffered an unfortunate accident with severe consequences. As initially shared by his wife Vanessa on Instagram, on December 2, 2022, Colt “suffered an accident which caused a dislocated and broken leg. Tibia/fibula along with torn meniscus.”. At that time, Vanessa further shared, “with all the pain meds/anesthesia he received, his bladder stopped working and has been on a catheter since. He is unable to put any weight on the leg, can’t bend it, and is wheelchair bound.”

Since Vanessa delivered this heart-rending news, there have also been hopeful updates provided by Vanessa. About a month later, she shared a photo of Colt on a physical therapy bike. She expressed her pride in him for quickly making strides in physical therapy.

Vanessa recently hosted a “question and answer” session on her Instagram story. She revealed that while she will refuse to film anymore, it is “unlikely” Colt will also continue to film 90 Day Fiance.

Vanessa also revealed that Colt’s accident was a result of “filming a scene on trampolines that went terribly wrong.”

Vanessa also revealed that Colt’s recovery is “really good, actually. He’s healing faster than expected, but still dealing with a lot of pain, especially after PT sessions.”.

We all wish Colt the best in his recovery process and hope he fully recovers soon. We are sure with someone like Vanessa at his side and his determination in physical therapy, he will return to his old self in no time!
