Life After Lockup: EXCLUSIVE! Tayler’s Chest Tattoos: What Do They Mean?

On this season of Life After Lockup, Tayler George is the mom of three young daughters and is pregnant with her fourth child. She is engaged to “felon” Chance Pitt. So far this season, Tayler and Chance have faced a major issue in their relationship: money. Chance is above his head in debt and is hiding it from his partner Tayler.

A visit to a financial advisor blows up in Chance’s face. First, he admits to spending too much on incidentals such as soda, breakfast sandwiches, and vapes. Then Chance gives up that; he has been taking side trips to the casino and losing money. This infuriates Tayler, who asks why Chance would do such a thing. Tayler points out their household bills are often two months behind at a time, so why would Chance be gambling at the casino money they didn’t have to spend?

All these secrets that came out into the light at the financial advisor’s office had Tayler thinking. She wondered what else Chance could be hiding. Tayler decided to peek into Chance’s phone to see what she might find. She found suspicious messages and deleted pictures between Chance and a “Work Jess”. Infuriated, Tayler decides to set fire to Chance’s belongings in the backyard.

It turns out that part of Tayler’s chest tattoo may have given her the strength and inspiration to overcome that challenging situation. WOTSR spoke with Tayler exclusively to confirm her chest tattoo and its meaning.

According to Tayler, her tattoo isn’t completed yet. It is an octopus on one side and a bluebird on the other. According to Tayler, “the octopus stands for the ability to overcome challenging situations. The bluebird stands for empathy and loyalty”.

Chance also got a new tattoo himself. He recently shared on his Instagram story that he shaved his head and tattooed wings on the side. Considering the financial problems he is having on screen, you can’t help wondering where he secured the funds for the tattoo.

The growing family recently spent time together at a Science Center, as shown on Tayler’s Instagram post. Tayler and Chance shared a glimpse of their baby boy as well.

Tayler’s chest tattoos have deep meaning for her but also describe her personality. The octopus, she says, represents overcoming challenging situations. Situations that are similar to the ones playing out on television screens right now. The bluebird represents empathy and loyalty. Tayler is a very empathic person. Tayler has dealt with her sister Bobbi and Chance with compassion and empathy. But once Tayler discovers what Chance is up to, will her devotion to him remain?
