Life After Lockup: Shavel vs Quaylon – It Continues

Shavel Moore and Quaylon Adams returned to this past season’s Life After Lockup after a hiatus on the WeTv show. During their premiere season, Shavel bought Quaylon a car and many fans remember their break-up scene.

This time the couple was back stronger than ever – or it seemed at first. Shavel and Quaylon announced on their “Where Are They Now ” special that they were engaged. Shavel showed off her new body and her engagement ring. When Life After Lockup began we learn the couple is amidst wedding planning and Quaylon has expressed his desire to adopt Mi’leah – Shavel’s daughter.

As the season progressed there was more drama to come between the mother-in-laws fighting at the bridal shower and Mil’eah’s grandmother opposing the adoption idea. Mi’leah herself told her mother she opposed the adoption idea. The season ended with Shavel and Quaylon continuing to plan their wedding despite the drama from both sides of the family.

All the on-screen drama could not prepare the fans for the off-screen drama to occur. Shortly after the season finale, Shavel announced that she and Quaylon were no longer getting married and their relationship was over. 

When fans thought that was a bombshell – there was more to come. A young man named Aaron came forward to say he was Quaylon’s former prison lover. Aaron disclosed that he came forward to Shavel with this information to “warn her about the man she was going to marry”. Shavel – by her admission – didn’t believe him at first but Aaron provided all the “receipts” she needed. Check out Aaron’s interview with Kiki and Kibbitz for the whole story from Aaron himself.

Shavel also revealed that Quaylon has a “long-time girlfriend” as well. Shavel later revealed she had been receiving threats from Quaylon. She published to her IG story a sample of the threats she had been receiving from Quaylon. To date, Quaylon has yet to address the allegations from either Shavel or Aaron.

Shavel further revealed why her daughter did not want Quaylon to adopt her. According to Shavel – Quaylon allegedly physically assaulted her in front of Mi’leah. It is understandable why the child doesn’t want Quaylon to be her “father”. Shavel explains she continued to film with Quaylon because she was under “contractual obligations”.

With allegations that Quaylon repeatedly cheated on her and now with these new allegations of physical assault – one has to question Shavel and Quaylon’s storyline on this past season of Life After Lockup. With all of these off-camera allegations – one has to wonder why Shavel didn’t break things off with Quaylon sooner. What do you think? Drop me a comment below!
