Dylan & Marissa – A Sad Saga

When Dylan Smith was released from prison at the start of season 3 of Love After Lockup, it was supposed to be his second chance. Dylan just served a prison sentence for burglary and drug charges. He met Heather Gillespie on a prison pen pal site. When he was released, he went home to Heather.

Viewers watched as their relationship quickly unraveled. Heather’s increasingly volatile towards Dylan drove him away. Dylan left Heather’s house, but Heather would not easily let go of the relationship. This couple may have only been featured on our TV screens for a brief period, but their storyline continues to play out on social media.

Both have moved on to other relationships but seem to be intertwined with each other somehow. Heather’s last known relationship was with a man named Xavier. She is currently pregnant with twins.

Dylan has moved on to his relationship with a woman named Marissa. However, he recently revealed on his Instagram that his mother sent Heather money. Dylan has always maintained that Heather was the toxic one in the relationship. However, Dylan’s relationship with Marissa has enough drama to go around.

Recently, Dylan uploaded footage to his Instagram showing a confrontation between him and Marissa in an elevator. Marissa is on the phone with the police telling them she needs assistance. Dylan is recording Marissa and requesting that she “confess that she hit herself in the face.” Dylan also notes that there is a surveillance camera in the elevator, and the footage will clear him of her accusations.

As shown from the live post on Instagram – which was now deleted- Dylan speaks to the officers and then proceeds to air all the dirty laundry. But he doesn’t stop there. As shown by this Reddit post by The_Chuckness88, Dylan was just getting started

Marissa lists her occupation as “Digital Creator – Managing Media Social Profiles” on her Instagram profile. Days after their fight, Dylan released videos and images suggesting that she was on illegal substances. Marissa then decided to release some of her dirt against Dylan.

If this video sent to me by a source indicates anything, Dylan successfully got a protection order against Marissa. She will be going to court soon to deal with it. Marissa doesn’t sound too worried, though.
