David & Annie: Before The 90 Days: Special Friendship With Cindy

David and Annie Toborowsky return to Thailand in the second season of David and Annie: After the 90 Days. Their primary mission is to get a visa for Annie’s younger brother Jordan and cousin Amber. Annie’s best friend, Cindy Pentor, has supported the couple from the start of their journey. Their friendship is an exceptional one.

Annie and Cindy have known each other since middle school. As Annie explained- in the first episode of the first season of David & Annie: Before the 90 Days- Cindy was “born as a man, but her heart is as a woman.” Annie explains that in Thailand, Cindy is a “ladyboy,” which is one of “like 11 different sex types in Thailand, all open and accepted”. Cindy is a professional hair designer. Samples of her work can be seen on her social media.

Cindy, Annie, and David had lots of fun partying together in Bangkok. Their bond goes beyond drinking and dancing on tabletops. Annie took the time to wish her childhood friend a heartfelt happy birthday.

David also pays tribute to his friend living her best life.

This season, we see Cindy play a role in trying to assist Amber with her English speaking skills. Amber’s limited English played a role in her visa denial last season. We also see Cindy greet David’s daughter & granddaughter when they arrive in Annie’s village.

It is heartwarming to see such a lovely friendship between these three. Cindy recently posted this picture of her friends with a heartfelt caption.
