Fans Express Feelings About Jamal – Are His Actions Hypocritical?

Jamal Menzies is the only child of 90 Day Fiancè: HEA cast member Kimberly Menzies. Since Kimberly was first introduced as Usman’s “super-fan” and “potential girlfriend”, Jamal has made it clear to his mother that he has reservations about the relationship. Usman tries to win Jamal over when he visits Nigeria. Usman even bought Jamal a PS5! However, Jamal is hard to win over, and the adoption plan of Usman’s nephew wouldn’t help the situation.

Jamal’s appearances on HEA and Pillow Talk with his mother pleased fans. Fans loved that Jamal was the voice of reason for his mother. Viewers thought he was charming, funny, and good to look at. Fans were pleased with this new addition to the 90 Day Fiancè cast.

Then the rumors of a possible relationship with fellow cast member Veronica Rodriguez began to swirl. Pictures of the two attending the same event caused further speculation that they might be a couple. When a teaser of Veronica’s new love interest was shown on a preview of the Tell-All of 90 Day Fiancè: The Single life, viewers went wild. Speculation was at an all-time high.

When it was finally revealed that Jamal and Veronica were in an “open relationship,” fans were not pleased. Many began to see Jamal in a new light. Viewers were unhappy that Jamal continued playing the field while “dating” Veronica. Many felt he was treating Veronica the way Usman treats Kimberly. Fans felt his behavior with Veronica on The Single Life Tell All was hypocritical. They pointed out how he treats Veronica the way Usman treats his mother.
