Cassia: A Blast From The Past Spillin’ The Tea

Cassia Tavares and Jason Hitch are an OG 90 Day Fiancè couple. They appeared on Season two of 90 Day Fiancè. Jason, a U.S Army veteran, lived together with his father in Spring Hill, Florida and Cassia is from Brazil. They met on Facebook and there was an age difference between them that would be a factor later on. For those who need a refresher on Jason and Cassia, here is their introductory video from their season eight years ago.

Cassia’s young and carefree ways often clashed with Jason’s conflicting attitude. As shown on their season, their age difference started to come into play. Simple things such as purchasing a binki caused conflict. The viewers watched as Cassia and Jason had many uncomfortable confrontations on screen through out their appearance on 90 Day Fiancè.

Jason was charged with domestic violence against Cassia in 2017. The couple would eventually file for divorce in 2018. They would later blame the dissolution of their marriage to a lack of communication. Tragically, Jason died in 2021 of COVID – related complications.

Now Cassia is back -sort of. Cassie has started a new life with her Italian husband Giuseppe in Italy and is living her best life. Cassia has also been “lurking”around Reddit and decided to drop some tea on fellow cast members from her season. Turns out she has a lot to say about Loren!

Cassia shared that while she “didn’t click” with fellow cast members Mohammed and Evelin. When it comes to Loren however:  “I’ve never met her, but I don’t like Loren for SURE”. Cassia’s reasoning for this is Loren apparently commented on a story about Cassia’s break-up with Jason. Cassia goes on to elaborate: “That girl gives me the vibes that she LOVES drama and gossip, she’s like that neighbor that knows everything about everyone”.

Cassia goes to to explain that Loren “has mean girl vibes. Loren tries too much. It feels like she has nothing original to offer so she needs to put others down to feel better about herself. What a joke.” While Loren is not her favorite cast member, Juliana (Jonthan’s ex) is “funny and sweet and has a good heart”.

It was a social media post that caused Cassia to immediately dislike Loren without meeting her. It was a social media post that caused her some drama with Larissa. Apparently she and Larissa were friendly at one point. But Cassia liking this meme by @90dayfianceupdate caused Larissa to “unfollow” her and stop speaking to her.

While she and Jason went through troubled times together, Cassia may hold special memories of him. You won’t find pictures of him on her social media however.
