Love In Paradise: Scott – Preying on Women Just To Stay on TV?

This season on 90 Day Fiancé: Love in Paradise viewers have watched as Scott Wren tried to find love in the Dominican Republic. First, he tried his hand at love with Pedro and Nicole Jimeno’s mother Lidia. He was introduced to Lidia by Nicole’s boyfriend Alejandro while they were workout buddies at the gym. After a year of video calls, Scott decided to fly down to the Dominican Republic and meet Lidia in person.

His love match with Lidia would not work out. The language barrier would prove to be much for the couple to overcome. Also – Scott’s mind and heart was elsewhere. He confessed that he was not over his younger Colombian ex-girlfriend, Lis. He contacts Lis and flies her to the Dominican Republic with hopes to rekindle their romance instead.

The romantic interlude with Lis did not go as Scott hoped, however. After arriving at their romantic resort in Puerto Plata – things imploded. Lis felt suffocated by Scott and she stated in her confessional she felt “overwhelmed”. Lis said she just wanted to relax and see how things developed with Scott but he seemed almost “desperate”. Lis left their room in tears to book her own room for the night and was planning on changing her flight the next day.

On-screen, Scott did not have luck finding love. Off-screen, Scott’s behavior has become increasingly disturbing and distressing. As previously reported, Scott earlier in the season asked fans for their financial support for help getting back to Florida. Scott claimed he was in Amsterdam, NY with no way of getting home to Spring Hill, Florida. In a now deleted post, Scott cried shirtless in his car while he explained that he has his belongings in his car and has been showering at the gym. Scott also explained that his dog was with a dog sitter and he did not have the money to pay the dog sitter to get his dog.

Scott was so upset about his situation – as documented by this live video captured on TikTok by Mac.and.Chisme – Scott had some disturbing thoughts and was in an extremely depressed state at one point.

During this period – as previously reported – Scott published his bank account balance to show his financial needs and his CashApp and Venmo account for “donations” from fans. WOTSR was contacted by one female fan who offered to help Scott after allegedly speaking to him for a year. During this time of his need she tried to help him by ”offering him lunch or dinner to be sent to him from me and get him my gift card to find a hotel for a roof over his head”. Scott was documenting his return to Spring Hill Florida on his social media during this period.

When it was this woman’s turn however, to reach out to Scott for some advice when she needed it – Scott immediately blocked her. He had no time for her. Even after she showed monetary kindness to him during his time of need. She was simply asking for advice – not money.

Another example Scott’s disturbing behavior is when he decided to “dress up” as his Love In Paradise co-star Dr. April Carter in another now-deleted social media post. When Scott was going through his financial difficulties Dr Carter showed her support for her co-star Scott encouraged fans to “show us some grace and be kind”. In turn, Scott posted and later deleted this post to his social media “dressing up” as Dr Carter.

Scott also appeared on Instagram live with 90 Day Fiancé franchise co-stars Ella, Rishi and Jeymni. As seen in this clip, “alpha male” Scott discusses “his alpha male fantasy of converting a lesbian back to the dark side”. 

90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days cast member Statler – who will appear on screen with her British girlfriend Dempsey this season – was disturbed by Scott’s comment about “converting lesbians back from the dark side”.

The most disturbing behavior Scott has displayed towards women to date has been perhaps his perusal of Tiffany Franco of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season One. Tiffany is separated from Ronald and is looking to move on with her life. Scott – who recently felt the need to say goodbye to Lidia one more time – as seen in his social media post here – is now pursuing Tiffany. Scott thinks “shooting his shot” via social media is the best way to do so.

Tiffany – instead of taking the opportunity to blast Scott for his creepiness – takes the opportunity to promote her lipstick line. Tiffany will let everyone know if she will take Scott up on his “offer” – but encourages everyone to check out her lip color. It seems like something similar to Tiffany’s product is also available on the popular site AliBaba Express for a discounted price. Tiffany chose this opportunity to promote her product instead using her platform of multiple followers to blast the fact that Scott continues to use his social media to exploit women and gain more followers at the expense of others.

Finally – in what could be considered a final insult – Scott who blamed a “language barrier” as one of the main reasons why his relationship with Lidia didn’t work out – suddenly has learned Spanish. As seen in this recent IG story – Scott taunts fellow co-star Carlos that he has more Instagram followers than he does – in Carlos’ native language.
