Love In Paradise: What Is Happening With Scott?

Lidia Morel started this season of 90 Day Fiancé: Love in Paradise with high hopes of finding her love. The overprotective mother of Pedro and Nicole Jimenez was finally stepping out on her journey to find love. Her daughter Nicole -who has endured her mother’s wrath in her relationship – is now ready to take over the “mother role.”

However, Scott Wren and Lidia had one major obstacle to their love connection: a language barrier. While Scott and Lidia had the assistance of a translator during their virtual conversations, the couple found it harder to communicate in person. Scott had to depend on the kindness of strangers, Nicole, and even a producer to help him communicate with Lidia. In the end, it proved all too much for Scott to handle.

Scott is a respiratory therapist from Florida who was introduced to Lidia by Alejandro – Nicole’s boyfriend. Alejandro and Scott work out at the same gym. Scott is into physical fitness, and his social media posts show his fitness routines and healthy lifestyle.

Scott’s social media posts have remained mainly upbeat during the season. His posts are either encouraging fans to watch 90 Day Fiancé: Paradise or more personal ones, such as reflecting on childhood memories and his childhood home.

Lately, Scott’s mainly upbeat posts have turned downhill. First, Scott posted this emotional video entitled “my reality.” Scott talks about having a stroke last year and affecting his memory to the point that he cannot fulfill the duties of his job as a respiratory therapist. Scott also talks about being “picked on” for how he looks, “financially putting things on the back burner for the last couple of years,” and owing thousands of dollars in taxes and credit card debt. Scott is very emotional when he states he only wants to return home to Florida and get his dog back. See Scott’s full emotional video below.

Scott later posted a picture of his overdrawn bank account balance. Scott then posted to his Instagram, asking the fans for their assistance. He later deleted both posts from his social media.

 90 Day Fiancè cast members Kobe and Richard of 90 Day Fiancé: UK also provided their support in his comments before Scott deleted the posts. 

Scott’s 90 Day Fiancè: Love In Paradise’s fellow cast member Dr. April Carter also provided a video of support for Scott on his IG page and encouraged everyone to “be kind.”
