90 Day Fiancé: Ella & Johnny – Are they Really “Over”?

Ella Johnson was introduced to 90 Day Fiancé viewers during season five of Before the 90 Days. She was in a relationship with Johnny Chao, but they could not visit each other due to strict COVID restrictions in both the United States and China. Johnny was especially reluctant to come to the United States since he was the primary caregiver for his elderly parents and young son. Ella also suffered from self-esteem issues. Ella also cheated on Johnny, but Johnny forgave her.

Now almost two years after their love story debuted on television, Johnny finally made his way to Idaho to meet Ella!

There weren’t any bumps along the way, however. First, Ella describes herself as “single” when asked on her Instagram story.

Then Ella revealed that while she had some plans for Independence Day – Johnny was “acting weird.”

Ella then revealed in a reel on her social media, “If you have been in communication or in a relationship with Johnny during the same time period as me please feel free to comment on this post.” She further reveals she has been communicating with two other women in a relationship with Johnny, and the “timeline” corresponds with her relationship with Johnny. Now Johnny has arrived at Ella’s, and they look happy! Ella shared a selfie of the two smiling and thanked one of her friends who shared the photo for “being one of her biggest rocks through this.”

Ella and Johnny have waited years to meet in person. Ella has cheated on Johnny in the past – but he forgave her. Would he travel this far – leaving his son and parents behind – if he wasn’t serious about Ella and their relationship? Are we going to see them in a future “Happily Ever After” season?
