Love Without Borders: Naeem Trusting The Process

Arica Angelo and her matchmaking skills came out of the gate with a bang early on Love Without Borders. The new show – which recently premiered on Bravo – may remind viewers of 90 Day Fiancè. The show is about five American singles trusting Arica’s matching-making skills so much they leave everything behind for a stranger – and a chance at true love. One more American single leaves his trust in Arica to find true love.

Naeem is a middle school social worker who is a big kid. He is the jokester. Some find his humor to be questionable. His parents were married for over forty years. When his father died, he learned he was unfaithful to his mother. Naeem was a “dating dog” in the past as well. A near-fatal battle with COVID changed it all for him.

Naeem promised God he would settle down if He brought Naeem the right woman. Arica would help accomplish that. Naeem’s mother is not crazy about this whole idea. She is in town for the holidays, and Naeem receives the visit from Arica. It is time to get this match.

Naeem will be using his college Spanish big time. His love awaits him in Panama City. Chandra is in customer service and is looking to settle down. Her prior relationships were “rough.” Chandra has a bible- which may delight Naeem’s mom – but admits patience is not her strong point. Will these two be able to put their personality quirks together to make it work?

Gurleen and Sheryas continue to try to work on their relationship. After offending Sheryas’ cousin by cleaning up after her dishes at their party, Gurleen offends Sheryas by going to bed in her room at 7:30 pm on their first night in their new apartment together.

Danna continues to be all starry-eyed over her Irish farmer Brian as he takes her to the beautiful Irish countryside. She can picture herself living a simple life with her cute Irish farmer on an Irish farm. However, Aaron is still trying to imagine how he can fit into Mael’s apartment. After having a mini-meltdown, Aaron starts to let his guard down, and Mael in. Mael introduces him to the finer aspects of French cuisine.

Finally, Phil (that’s Philip Michael Thomas, Jr to you) and Carmen have physical chemistry, but cracks are starting to show. Upon discovering in conversation that Rita Marley is Phil’s godmother, Carmen decides to do some research on her man on the Gram. The eyeful of “thirst trap” pictures did not make her happy. Neither did when Phil pointed out all the bikini pictures on her Instagram. Will this couple continue to argue over the petty?
