Life After Lockup – Moka Is A Big Fat Scammer – Pt 2

This season of Life After Lockup Michael Persaud’s manager, Moka, was an issue in Mike’s personal life. Mike, who goes by the stage name Montana Millz, is newly released from prison, and his manager, Moka, a/k/a Lydell Birch, wants him to concentrate solely on his career. Moka suggests that Mike ruined a potential hit rap career before it even began.

Viewers watched as Moka suggested to Mike that he not wear his wedding ring while on tour. “Who ever heard of a married rapper?” Moka exclaimed. On the season finale of Life After Lockup, Mike gave Justine a ring on stage after his performance. Moka was angry that Mike was “defiant in Las Vegas! This is my city!”. Justine, for her part, expressed her displeasure with Moka’s “suggestions” to her husband. Justine also explained to Mike her feelings about Moka’s treatment of her.

Moka, a/k/a Lydell Birch, then found himself, in a twist of fate, involved in an incident that would result in a man’s death. At press time, there have been no charges filed against Moka for the death of Lendor Conrad Coney, Jr., on April 12, 2023, during a live interview on Lawd Lukan’s YouTube channel. In a tragic turn of events, Moka, a/k/a Lydell, would find himself shooting a man three times.

As previously reported, Moka was at his girlfriend’s house—who is identified as Bree—the day of the incident. The victim, Lendor, was Bree’s former boyfriend, whom Bree did not tell about her relationship with Moka. Lendor thought he was doing a favor for Bree. Bree had lied to Lendor and told him she would be out of town that day. Moka sat in the backyard of Bree’s home, conducting his interview on YouTube, while Bree and Lendor argued in front of the home.

In a tragic turn of events, a man lost his life. Bree, the woman who was at the center of it all, was devastated. As previously reported, once Bree started dating Moka, she began withdrawing from her friend group. Her friends never met Moka, unlike Lendor, “Bree’s rock,” who was “always there,” and Bree made excuses why. Bree confided that within the first few months of her relationship with Moka, he “borrowed” $7,000 for a pinky ring. Within a few short months of their relationship, Moka, a/k/a Lydell, also “established residency” at Bree’s house by changing his address and having mail sent there.

During their relationship, Bree would see red flags in Lydell and tell her trusted friend. Moka sends Bree a message, making her feel guilty about posting pictures of the two of them on her social media when another woman he was communicating with called him out on it. When he wasn’t calling her out, he was asking her to have his baby. Bree was overwhelmed by this behavior and confided in friends she didn’t know what to do. Lendor had moved on with his life. “If Lendor took me back, I would leave Moka,” Bree would say to her friends.

In this exclusive video from February 2023 with a Canadian TikToker, Moka is showing off the pinky ring he bought with the $7,000 he “borrowed” from Bree. 

This woman wanted to connect with Moka and network. She reached out to him with hopes of making connections to further her career. She thought Moka was kidding when he asked about borrowing money. She didn’t give him any money and never went to Las Vegas to meet him. “Cold feet,” as she calls it.

Then there is the woman in England who met him on Tinder in August 2019. According to her, he claimed to be “an engineer looking for a soulmate”. She says he soon asked her for loans for his “business ventures including purchasing his home which he has since sold for a huge profit. Also for the barber shop 2 hansum” The woman also says the man she knows as Lydell Birch “always showed me business plans communications and screenshots legitimating his business ventures. He always said the money was a loan that he would pay back”. The woman further tells WOTSR “He has cut me off and has not responded to legal demands to repay my money back”.

Another woman who contacted WOTSR met Moka many years ago and is still dealing with him. The woman told tales of witchcraft and how Moka ruined her life. The woman has lost money, her home, and her safety because of her history with the man she knows as Lydell. This woman, who owned several of her own businesses, has confided to WOTSR that she is broke and living at a shelter. While Moka has destroyed her life, she still calls him her “twin flame”. She insists that Moka destroyed her life, and in turn, his life will be destroyed as well.

Moka is a frequent contributor (unintentionally) to a Facebook group dedicated to women trying to weed out potential red flags. Moka, a/k/a Lydell Birch, seems to make it a pattern to date multiple women at once without being open with them.

Moka is also the subject of a Facebook group dedicated to women he “scammed” and their testimonies.

WOTSR also received screenshots of messages from women who say Lydell borrowed money from them (or their friends) to never be seen again.

With all this evidence, it sure seems like MOKA IS A BIG FAT SCAMMER and one cannot blame Justine for being skeptical of Moka’s business advice for her husband. Hopefully Mike, a/k/a Montana Millz, will see that his business connections with Moka, a/k/a Lydell Birch, may not be the wisest career move in the long term.
