EXCLUSIVE SPOILER: Cast News For Next Season

You have seen the commercial repeatedly—flashes of cast members within a short time slot and no premiere date. “Life After Lockup” returns in February – but no date? Have no fear! Word On The Street Reality is here to bring you the EXCLUSIVE cast news!

Premiere Date: February 24th, 2022. This current season of Love After Lockup started on December 16th, 2022. With commercials touting the premiere of Life After Lockup “in February,” it is logical to assume this season of Love After Lockup will be ten episodes. The season finale of Love After Lockup will be on February 17th, 2023. 

Cast:

Lindsey & Blaine: Not only are they featured prominently in the commercial – Lindsey with some new tattoos as well – the good citizens of Cornith, Mississippi, also spotted them filming recently and reported it promptly on Facebook. Viewers may remember Lindsey’s charges hanging over her last season, and in the commercial being shown, we can see her attorney saying, “you have been indicted….” Does this mean Lindsey will face more legal troubles this season?

Shawn & Sara: Not only are they featured prominently in the commercial, but Sara and Shawn will also have spent many special first milestones with their daughter Addilyn together. Whether or not Destinie will return to cause drama remains to be seen.

Tayler & Chance: Speaking of first milestones, Tayler and Chance will spend a bunch with their baby boy. Chance recently shared a picture of his bundle of joy and his new “toy” – a crossbow. Tayler and Chance will have plenty of chances this season to explore their relationship with the added dynamic of a newborn in the mix. Has Chance and his credit score gotten him into trouble yet? How is Bobbi?

Justine & Michael: As the new Brittany & Marcelino of the franchise, it only makes sense their story continues on Life After Lockup. We also see a glimpse of Justine in the commercial. This season we see Mike acclimate back into society and his family. He re-establishes the connections he lost while he was in prison. Now, what will “life” after lockup bring this couple? Justine’s eldest daughter recently got accepted into college. Will Justine “cutting the cord” be explored? After two consecutive seasons, it makes logical sense to bring them back to follow their storyline cohesively. 

Puppy, Amber, and their respective men: It was deep when we last left these two. Amber had just had a medically necessary abortion but due to the strict abortion laws in Georgia had to go out of state. Amber didn’t feel like she had the emotional support she needed from TC. Then Puppy is still with Eric, who is still with his wife, Heather. Did Eric finally divorce Heather? Did Puppy break up with Eric? The most important question is: WHAT DOES QUEEN SAY ABOUT ALL THIS? Amber’s recent posts show that she has been relaxing with her man.

Finally, in a bit of a red herring, the final couple returning is NOT Britney and Ray, even though this may look like them when you glance.

Word on The Street Reality recently revealed that Aris and Cameron are married. This seems to indicate we will see their wedding on Life After Lockup. Cameron and Aris both posted Christmas pictures and seemed to be enjoying their time as a couple together. Perhaps after Cameron wins everyone over this season, next season will focus on Aris’ dream wedding and all that it involves getting there.
