Life After Lockup: The Downward Spiral Of Earl Pitt

Tayler George and Earl “Chance” Pitt are going through their share of martial issues on-screen during this current season of “Life After Lockup.” Their son Mason just turned a year old, and the couple has started their epoxy furniture finishing business. However, Chance is not known for his financial stability, and an old prison debt quickly catches up to him. Tayler learns that, once again, Chance is keeping secrets from her.

Off-screen -as first reported by the YouTube channel Kiki and Kibbitz – Tayler would find out that Chance was keeping many more secrets. Tayler would discover that Chance was allegedly secretly communicating with another woman, and Tayler would kick him out of her home. Unfortunately for Tayler – the drama with Chance would not end there. First, he was arrested on December 8, 2023, at 2:35 AM in St. Charles, MO, for a DWI charge. He was released with a citation to appear at a future court date.

Then, ten days later, on December 18, 2023, at 1:30 AM, Chance was involved in an accident with a semi-tractor trailer truck, which rolled over on the side of the highway where the accident occurred. Here is news footage from the night of the accident:

Chance was later charged with leaving the scene of this accident.

The wife of the driver of the other vehicle expressed her gratitude on social media her husband’s injuries were not worse.

Now, according to a probable cause affidavit filed – on the night of the accident, Earl Chance Pitt allegedly also stole a vehicle and used a woman’s debit card that he found inside of the car he stole to make several small purchases at a convenience store.

According to the probable cause affidavit filed:

“The sequence of events leading to Pitt’s arrest are as follows. Pitts’ truck was involved in a motor vehicle collision involving an overturned tractor-trailer on 12/18/2023 at approximately 0140 hours. The call for service to Mercy Lincoln for the stolen vehicle occurred at 0732 hours. On 12/18/2023 at approximately 0946 hours, I responded to a call for service at Troy Inn and Suites in reference to a domestic disturbance involving Pitt and his spouse. While on scene at Troy Inn and Suites, I discovered Pitt’s identity. While reviewing video footage at the hotel, Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene due to video footage being captured of Pitt shortly after the crash.

Upon arrival at Mercy Lincoln, I spoke with the victim and Mercy Lincoln Security Officer . stated she arrived at work on 12/17/2023 at approximately 1900 hours. parked her red Ford Escape on the southern end of the parking lot of Mercy Lincoln Hospital. After parking her vehicle, she locked her vehicle using the Ford mobile phone application. After completing her shift on 12/18/2023 at 0700 hours, she exited Mercy Lincoln Hospital to discover her vehicle stolen.

Chance is being held on a $25,000 cash bond; his next court date is January 2, 2024.
