July 3, 2023July 3, 2023 Love in Paradise: Dr. April Carter – Bad Google Reviews? Spread the love This season on 90 Day Fiancé: Love in Paradise, Dr. April Carter was introduced to viewers as a successful businesswoman. Not only is she a doctor, but she also owns two businesses. One is HOTWORX, launched in January 2020. HOTWORX is a fitness studio that incorporates infrared heat and isometrics. She also owns a luxury car dealership in the Dominican Republic. She met her love match in the Dominican Republic – DeJuan “Valentine” Baez. Valentine is a fitness instructor at a resort where Dr. Carter stays during her trips to the Dominican Republic. Valentine has struggled economically and would like to improve his economic status. He is willing to work hard – he needs an opportunity. He and Dr. Carter have romantic sparks that ignite, but will it lead to everlasting love? Dr. Carter is a self-proclaimed germaphobe. She travels with her cleaning supplies, and when invited to a family event at Valentine’s house, she brings her trusty cleaning supplies. Dr. Carter recently sat down with HoustonLife to dish about her professional life and about the filming experience of 90 Day Fiancé: Love In Paradise. Dr. Carter explains that viewers only see a small part of what plays out every week, and while she “sees the comments,” the backlash sometimes does bother her. She reminds viewers that they are “watching real people on television.” https://www.click2houston.com/houston-life/2023/06/28/houston-woman-stars-on-90-day-fiance-love-in-paradise/ In an earlier video, Dr. Carter expressed this sentiment to support her fellow cast mate Scott Wren, encouraging fans to “be kind.” As previously reported – Scott had posted to his social media about financial difficulties but later deleted the posts causing some confusion. You can read more about the Scott situation here. According to Dr. Carter’s WebMd profile, she graduated from the University of Medicine and Health Sciences in St Kitts and graduated in 2013. She completed her residency at the University of Tennessee. Her list of procedures performed is quite extensive as well. Unfortunately, it seems Dr. Carter does not take her own advice when it comes to her some of her own patients. While one patient’s family member credits Dr. Carter for saving her mother’s life – other reviews weren’t as favorable. A WebMD physician search of her name shows the following reviews: While Dr. Carter asks for kindness and compassion for herself and her cast members, these reviews show when Dr. Carter was not kind and compassionate to her patients at their most vulnerable times. Dr. Carter’s new friend Scott wants to do a “parody” with her. Dr. Carter is a busy businesswoman and an ER doctor working back-to-back shifts. Should she take some time off and let loose with Scott? Dr. Carter’s road to love with Valentine in the Dominican Republic is filled with bumps. Will their love be strong enough to survive it all?
