90 Day Fiancé: Daniele Accuses Yohan of Abuse & Viewers Hold Her Accountable

Daniele Gates and Yohan Geronimo started their relationship on 90 Day Fiancé: Love in Paradise, and at first, it seemed like opposites attracted. Daniele is from NYC. She is older, independent, and owns a yoga studio. Yohan is younger and is the activities coordinator at the resort where Daniele vacations in the Dominican Republic. Despite their height and cultural differences, sparks flew.

Yohan always expressed his desire to come to the United States, while Daniele always expressed her desire to move permanently to the Dominican Republic. Daniele and Yohan would eventually get married, and their love story would be further documented on this season of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. Daniele would give up her apartment and life in New York City and relocate to the Dominican Republic to start her life with her husband.

When Daniele arrived is when the big problems began. First, Yohan didn’t feel supported with his business venture – the butcher shop. Then Daniele wanted Yohan to meet Taylen – her ex-boyfriend. Then Daniele was upset with Yohan for not acknowledging the effort she put in for his birthday celebration. Yohan pointed out that when Daniele mentioned wanting to hang out with Taylen the day before his birthday, it ruined it for him anyway. When the Tell-All concluded, things did not look good for Daniele and Yohan.

If Daniele’s recent Instagram lives caught by @90sipsofRealiTea are any indication, this relationship is all but DONE. Daniele drops huge bombs about her relationship with Yohan, including accusations of “physical, emotional, and financial abuse.”

Daniele says Yohan “put hands on her once,” but she “is over it.” While Daniele “doesn’t have a picture of his penis in someone else’s vagina, but I have enough conversations with other women and things he does while I am not in the country, and normal women – especially Scorpio women – would know what is happening.”

She also accuses Yohan of more severe abuse, such as “I’m not allowed to drive the car out of the parking lot even though I might crash it even though the only person who has gotten into accidents is him and there has been three of them….” Check out the full video of Daneile’s accusations below!

When a portion of her accusations was shared via Kiki and Kibbitz’s Instagram page, Daniele had a message for the fans who were critical of her treatment of Yohan or suggested she “deserved” what happened to her.

Viewers responded to her statement with their own opinions and asked for accountability on her behalf.

One viewer – a domestic violence survivor herself – asked Daniele to reflect on her actions in the relationship.

Daniele then further detailed the abused she endured by Yohan.

Other 90 Day Fiancé cast members – Pillow Talk’s Cynthia Decker and Daniele’s Love In Paradise co-star Amber Graney also weighed in on the situation.

Daniele, who said she would go Live after the Tell-All, instead posted her “love story” to her Instagram story, while her ex Taylen took to his Instagram story to express “the face the world forces him to make on a daily basis.”

This morning, Daniele acknowledged she would go live after the Tell-All but said she didn’t “have the bandwidth for it.” She says this is a situation she has “been managing since December.” She also acknowledges that “everything happens for a reason, so I know people are like, clearly, this is the relationship you manifested or clearly kicking the coconuts didn’t work whatever the comments are…I believe this is where I am supposed to be.”

While Daniele hoped for a happily ever after in her Dominican paradise with her husband, things seem quite the opposite. There are accusations of abuse, cheating and there appears to be no turning back from the damage. What do you think of all of this? Please drop me a comment below!
