Darcey & Stacey – Meet The Matchmaker Michelle G!

Darcey Silva is on a quest for love this season of Darcey & Stacey. Her previous tries have not gone well for her. First, there was Jesse, who, even though she tried to show him how to cut the steak on the bias, things ended very badly. Then there was Englishman Tom. Tom and Darcey also didn’t work out. Tom infamously gave Darcey a key to his house when she wanted an engagement ring. Then there was Georgi whom she broke off her engagement last season.

This season Darcey is ready to dive into the dating pool head-on. She decides she is ready to find her soulmate, and nothing will stop her this time. Darcey needs some assistance, though. She determines she will enlist the services of a matchmaker.

Her matchmaker isn’t just any other matchmaker, however. Michelle G is the go-to matchmaker in Miami if you want a top-notch, customized match. According to Michelle’s website, “I believe far too often people settle in love because they don’t know what they could have or how to find it. That’s where I come in. With my unique blend of science, psychology, and understanding of the human psyche, I help my clients discover love on their terms while introducing them to potential partners who see the world the same way.”

Michelle was quick to dole out some needed advice to Darcey regarding the photos she was using for her dating profile. Michelle pointed out that the pictures Darcey submitted were heavily filtered and not a good representation of what she looks like in person.

Michelle certainly has the qualifications to give Darcey such harsh advice. Michelle is the author of the book “Relationship SOS: Seven Lifelines to Rescue Your Emotional Intimacy Now.” According to her website, Michelle’s main passion “is to help singles and couples answer the questions “What does the word LOVE mean to me?” and “How can I have the relationship I desire?”. Her mission includes changing how singles and couples approach relationships – including the one we have with ourselves.

Michelle has also served in the United States Marine Corps for thirteen years. She is a chef as well. Michelle is also happily married! In her free time, she likes to scuba dive, play poker, dance salsa and play with her cat.

Michelle has over eight years of experience in matchmaking. She says she learned one thing in her years of matchmaking on her site: “that success in the boardroom doesn’t equate to success in the bedroom.” With this in mind, Michelle sets Darcey on a date with Cicero.

Cicero is a successful Miami real estate investor who likes fast cars. As previously reported, at first glance, it seems like he could be an excellent match for Darcey. Michelle meets with Darcey before her date with Cicero to try to give her some tips on dressing for a first date. Michelle was frustrated with Darcey’s wardrobe choices and flat-out told her she was dressing inappropriately.

Darcey may have her fashion line with Stacey with House of Eleven, but Michelle also has her lifestyle brand – Incredible Love. Michelle’s brand includes makeup kits in neutral shades that Darcey should have used on her date.

Michelle’s and Darcey’s business relationship did not work out. Darcey blamed Michelle for not “vetting” her potential date properly. Michelle pointed out that Darcey seemed to be the common denominator in her failed relationships, and maybe she should consider therapy. The two ladies did not leave off on good terms.

Michelle tried her hardest to find a match for Darcey. Her credentials seem impressive. She seemed to try to advise Darcey to the best of her ability. What do you think? Did Michelle fail at her job?
