RHONJ: It’s All About The Mozz!

The ladies of RHONJ join us this week at newbie Danielle’s house to make the mozz! Danielle – eager to nurture the bond she formed with the RHONJ friend group- -hosted a mozzarella-making party at her house. She had no idea what she was getting into. An old childhood friend is spilling all of Margaret’s dirty secrets. Of course, Teresa and Jennifer were willing to listen. Viewers also met newbie Rachel Fuda and her family.

Rachel met her husband, John, when she was 22, and he came into her bar every night. After convincing her to go out on one date with him, the rest is history. They have two children under two years old. Rachel says being a stepmother to John’s 15-year-old son “is hard to do,” but they “instantly clicked.” John and Rachel also have two babies under two years old: Guiliana & Gia.

Margaret hosts Jackie, Melissa, Dolores, and Jen Flesser for a “fun game night” at her home. Melissa brought the sprinkle cookies. The ladies discussed the argument between Dolores and Jennifer. Margaret then disclosed a fallout with her childhood best friend, Laura. She had previously introduced Laura to everyone. Laura immediately ran to Teresa with all of Margaret’s dirty little secrets, and they were willing to listen.

THE WEDDING INVITES ARE OUT! Like the bride- Teresa and Louie’s wedding invites are over the top and beautiful. Arriving in a box of heart-shaped arranged fresh flowers – the wedding of the year is announced to the residents of New Jersey. Dolores, Jennifer, Jen Flesser, Rachel, Margaret, and Joey are all shown receiving their invites. Joey and Melissa were a bit emotional. Joey feels that if his parents could see what was happening between him and his sister, they would be disgusted and disappointed. He blames the new “bad seed”: Louie.

When Danielle and her children visited Jennifer, she felt like she saw “Cesar’s place of Paramus.” She was nervous about inviting the ladies to her home for her mozzarella-making party. She said she’s very proud of her home, but after seeing Jennifer’s no one better call her house “cute.” When the first guest Dolores arrives, she comments on how cute Danielle’s house is.

Even though Danielle is interested in building relationships with all the ladies, she does not care for one in particular, so she does not invite her – Jackie. Danielle explains that she gets a “vibe” from Jackie that she is “checking her out,” and she doesn’t like her. Jennifer also commented that Jackie was a “snob.” Rachel also commented that Jackie was rude at the charity photo shoot at Margaret’s house.

Danielle tried to lead the ladies in making the mozz the best she could. They all geared up in their aprons and rubber gloves to fondle some cheese. The women didn’t realize this was such a sexual activity as well. Of course, once the mozzarella-making was over, the drama began

Jennifer vs. Margaret- “Marijuana paranoia.”

This then led to the chain of events that led to the drama. Jennifer then attempted to confront Rachel on why she “snapped” at her for using the word hypocrite. Margaret asked her to clarify the context of the conversation, and it spiraled into an argument between Jennifer and Margaret. Margaret insists Jennifer is rehashing old subjects, was not genuine in trying to move on with their friendship, and suffers from “marijuana paranoia.”

Jennifer vs. Dolores – “Drown me in the pool.”

Jennifer and Dolores rehashed the argument that occurred at the charity event. Teresa tried to mediate. Jen Flesser attempted to intervene. Dolores told her, “wrong place, wrong time, wrong people.” Jen Flesser went back to eating her fresh mozzarella instead. To calm Jennifer down after this blow-up, Teresa asks her opinion about seating arrangements at her wedding. Teresa is considering open seating arrangements at her wedding. This inadvertently leads to the third blow-up at the mozz-making party.

Teresa vs. Melissa – “Family Family Family”

Everyone in an Italian family (including this author) knows it is VERY IMPORTANT at a family affair where you sit. Please don’t ask why, but it is. Joey and Melissa were not sitting with Teresa and Louie at their engagement party in an apparent “oversight” that now Teresa denies was an oversight. Then the argument led to the “real reason” why Teresa didn’t ask Melissa to be a part of her wedding party: Margaret. Teresa felt that Melissa wasn’t defending Louie enough against Margaret. Teresa said at the time that Melissa – being “family” – should have stuck up for her more. Even Margaret admits that Melissa defended Louie. Melissa is so sick of Teresa preaching “family family family” when she doesn’t practice what she preaches.
