Montana Millz Drug Ring: A Family Affair

Viewers have followed the relationship between Justine and Michael Persaud since season two of Love During Lockup. This is where we were first introduced to Justine. We learned that Justine and Mike’s mother, Maria are co-workers. Maria was the one who introduced them. When the viewers first meet Justine, she plans to marry Michael in prison; his family is not aware of their plans yet.

Mike’s family is unhappy with Justine’s decision to marry him in prison. His mother and sister Anne in particular, voice their opinions to Justine. They do not understand why Justine cannot wait until Mike is released within a month.

Justine eventually gets her way and marries her man in prison. She then waits impatiently for his release. This is where their story picks up again in this season of Love After Lockup. Justine, in her catsuit driving one of Mike’s luxury cars, is waiting for her man at the prison gate.

Justine and Mike hope to navigate their blended family to a happily ever after but quickly reach several large bumps in the road. Most notably, Mike’s mother and sister. Justine found herself quickly clashing with her former friends regarding their roles in her relationship with Mike and their children.

The viewers know about Mike’s criminal charges that landed him in prison in the first place. Mike was arrested in October 2016 for selling about $300 of heroin to an undercover police officer. Police found 70 grams of heroin in a hotel room occupied by him.

While Mike’s criminal charges may not surprise Love After Lockup viewers – he even openly discussed the repercussions of his twenty-year parole on his rap career – who he was arrested with might be.

According to the Rhody Beat, six members of the drug dealing operation were arrested. One of the members of this operation included Tiffany Irizary, the mother of Mike’s two youngest children.

Another member of the drug operation also arrested Mike – and perhaps the most surprising one – is his sister Anne.

This may explain why Anne was so initially upset about not being able to attend her brother’s wedding and not being able to spend time with him the way she wanted to upon his release. No further information could be found about Anne’s arrest, but from this photograph, it is clear she was arrested with the other suspects.

Now that Mike is on parole for the next twenty years and has a possible baby, one must wonder how he plans to support his expanding blended family.
