February 13, 2023August 25, 2024 Molly Hopkins: The Southern Queen of Terror and Fraud Spread the love Molly Hopkins was first introduced for us as the hopeful fiancée of Luis Mendez on season 5 of 90 Day Fiancé. That didn’t work out. Next there was Pillow Talk with her BFF Cynthia Decker. They are sitting on the sofa laughing at episodes of 90 Day Fiancé and Molly is bringing snacks. Then there is “Single Life,” Molly searching for the right man to settle down with. Her ex-husband, Luis Mendez, was not the father figure she needed him to be. Molly needed a stable male role model with two daughters – Olivia and Kensley – at home. When she met Kelly on season one of 90 Day Fiancé: The Single Life, it looked like that would all fall into place for Molly. Fast forward to today…. The past few months have been turbulent ones for Molly. First, there were rumblings of her long-time friendship with Cynthia ending. The “BFF” she giggled with at episodes of 90 Day Fiancé would no longer be onscreen or in Molly’s Life. Fans wondered why. What would happen to LiviRae Lingerie – the business they had owned together since 2006? What prompted all this? Molly and Cynthia appeared to have the perfect “BFF” friendship for over 30 years. Things are not always what they seem to be on reality television. Lately, Molly Hopkins has been in the news…and not for good reasons. First we heard about the breakdown of the Molly and Cynthia friendship. Then we heard about her break up with Kelly Brown Then we heard Olivia was the reason for the breakup Then we heard about Kelly’s assault of Olivia. So what’s the truth behind the rumors? Let’s unpack this, one thing at a time. Molly and Cynthia: BFFs? Or Fake Friends? Cynthia and Molly started LiviRae Lingerie in 2006 with both a line of credit secured by Cynthia and money borrowed from Cynthia’s parents. In 2013, Molly and Cynthia were cast on the Lifetime show “Double Divas.” The show lasted two seasons, after which the ladies returned to the shop. While Cynthia spent her time at LiviRae, Molly continued a quest for love and for a stable male role model for her daughters. This quest brought back onscreen to TLC’s season five of “90 Day Fiancé” with Luis. A lawsuit filed on January 23, 2023 against Cynthia took friends and associates by surprise. it shocked several sources with knowledge of the business operations between Cynthia and Molly. The accusations that Cynthia “abandoned” the business since 2019 seemed outrageous. One former boyfriend of Molly’s – who spoke to Word on the Street under the condition of anonymity– told us that he remembered several occasions where he Facetimed Molly on many occasions during COVID from approximately March to June 2020 and saw Cynthia “working her ass off in the background sewing masks.” This contradicts Molly’s assertion that Cynthia, “beginning in 2019, Defendant only made sporadic appearances at the business and largely withdrew from any involvement in the business’s operations, fittings, or functions”. Molly also alleged that once Cynthia started construction on her dream home “their “relationship began to break down even further as Defendant faced financial stress from the construction of her new house.” Another source close to the situation disputed this. This source recalled Cynthia in the store, being her usual chatty self, showing off pictures and blueprints of her dream home. Dissatisfied customers posted comments on social media saying that the virtual fittings and products were both shoddy, at best. If Cynthia had “abandoned” LiviRae as the lawsuit filed suggests, why would Cynthia offer to remedy the situation quickly? The fact that Cynthia abandoned the business since 2019 also contradicts a police report filed for an incident that occurred on June 3, 2020. Cynthia was viciously assaulted by Molly “in the back of the head, with a closed fist…Mrs. Hopkins also kicked her in the right leg, leaving a bruise and causing her not to be able to drive for an hour.” The assault took place at LiviRae. Word On The Street Reality received pictures from a trusted source showing a large bruise on Cynthia’s leg. A former employee of LiviRae also confirms the account in a written statement dated a few days after the incident. According to the employee, Cynthia endured verbal abuse for years. This included frequent accounts of Molly screaming at her and throwing things in front of LiviRae employees. Molly always reminded Cynthia of her fame and popularity, citing the fact that she had more connections and followers as evidence. Cynthia finally broke her silence on January 23, 2023, and filed a police report about the incident almost two years prior. Why did she take so long? What prompted her to do so now? Details from police report filed on January 23, 2023 by Cynthia for the June 3, 2020 attack by Molly On Sunday, January 22, 2023, police were called to LiviRae Lingerie because, according to a source, “Livi was out of control again.” She and her boyfriend were in the store intimidating employees, and Livi demanded one of them be fired for stealing. Cynthia arrived at the store with her father to assess the situation and was greeted by a furious Olivia demanding the employee be fired. Olivia claimed she had seen the employee on video surveillance stealing merchandise. Sources close to the situation said Cynthia disputed Olivia’s assertion, saying that that Molly’s daughter frequently unplugged the cameras. In response, Olivia and her boyfriend said they had recently installed new cameras. Police on the scene “further advised Olivia that she should stay away from Cynthia when she is at the store to keep the incident from escalating.” The verbal abuse from Molly throughout the years and the physical attack. Seeing Olivia this irate, her boyfriend stomping around the store, scaring the employees, was all too much for Cynthia. It had to come to an end. Cynthia was staying silent no longer. Police report filed by Cynthia on January 22, 2023 against Olivia But now Molly is suing her. Is it because she’s afraid her former BFF might spill some of her dirtiest secrets? And then there was Kelly Molly was one of the original cast members of 90 Day Fiancé: The Single Life Season 1. Molly was the sweet southern belle looking for the right man to sweep her off her feet. She needed a strong man with strong family values, and Kelly Brown, an NYPD detective, seemed to fit the bill immediately. As viewers watched, they hit it off and developed a relationship that involved Kelly moving to Georgia after retiring from the NYPD. A source close to the family recalls that Kelly and Molly were introduced at the beginning of COVID around March/April 2020. But was this timeline accurate? WOTSR spoke with a man who claimed to be Molly’s ex-fiancé. He said that he was seeing Molly at the time that she signed the contract for the Single Life. Unsurprisingly, he broke off the engagement, returning the $15,000 engagement ring he purchased for her. When Molly’s business sales started slowing down during COVID, she asked him to send her money. He refused. Molly, her daughter Kensley and her ex-fiancé that returned the $15K ring he bought for her upon learning she was signing for The Single Life Another source close to WOTSR alleged that she was two-timing her ex-fiancé, as well. The source says that this was a “real Cajun country man” she was courting. Molly told this source that he was unwilling to continue the relationship because he was in a high profile military job. He apparently “ghosted her.” Was Kelly just a storyline for Molly to keep herself on television? Allegedly, there were other men, as well. While Kelly was moving his life down to Georgia, there was allegedly a married man who worked at a local airport. His wife messaged Kelly, saying that he had found intimate pictures of Molly on her husband’s phone. When Kelly furiously asked Molly about it, she claimed the man was a “clout chaser” and a “liar.” According to the source, Kelly chose to believe her. Then there was another man – a dentist from a local practice. Also married, he hung around LiviRae too much for Kelly’s comfort. Kelly asked Molly to stop communicating with the dentist, but she ignored him. Disappointed at this disrespectful behavior, Kelly mentioned it to the long-time store manager and asked her to put an end to the relationship. The man did not appear to be concerned by Kelly’s feelings about the situation. Olivia v Kelly: The Scandal. While Molly cavorted around the internet showing off her new “revenge body”, Kelly took Kensley to her first father-daughter dance. Even though Kelly had just moved from his home base of New York City to Georgia – where he knew no one – he tried his best to adjust and make a home for himself. Kelly found an apartment and allegedly wanted to feel out the situation before moving into Molly’s house permanently. Kelly was forming bonds with Kensley. He was also helping at LiviRae, stocking boxes and doing tasks around the store as needed. According to a source close to the situation, that’s the thing with Molly; once you are involved with her life, you are involved with LiviRae. Kelly recently retired and found himself working again for Molly at her whim at the store. Kelly allegedly didn’t see Molly for almost three weeks at one point and found himself increasingly alone and isolated. Molly allegedly didn’t want Kelly around anyone or talking to anyone for too long. On November 21, 2022, Kelly had enough of Matt – Olivia’s boyfriend – causing drama. Kelly, a retired NYPD detective, was becoming increasingly disturbed and troubled by behaviors demonstrated by Olivia and her boyfriend. Kelly visited LiviRae to confront Olivia about her boyfriend’s reckless and impaired behavior. What occurred at the store seems to be a case of Kelly trying to restrain an out-of-control Olivia. A statement given by Cynthia was reviewed where she states that it is almost logistically impossible for Kelly to “choke slam” Olivia because “behind our counter, there is a lot of stuff so now a wall would not have been reachable.” Cynthia also notes Kelly would have to “leap over or walk around the counter” to slam Olivia against the wall, which logistically would be hard to do if he “rushed to the counter, grabbed Olivia by her neck, and slammed her against the wall” as stated in the police report filed on February 2, 2023. This report was filed three months after the alleged incident and after media attention was brought to a racist text message Olivia sent to Kelly, which he published on his social media. Suppose Molly and Olivia were so afraid of Kelly. Why did Olivia indicate in social media comments, “watch their upcoming episodes, and everything will make sense” on a post in December when the breakup between Molly and Kelly was first reported? Did she mean when Molly and Kelly filmed the rumored “Couples Therapy” show with Angela, Ed, Jovi, and Aseulu in Florida in late January 2023? Would you film with someone who “choked slammed” your daughter less than three months prior? Kelly filming with Jovi and Aseulu in January 2023 Then There’s The Plexus Scam Then there is the source of Molly’s recent weight loss. She is promoting Plexus – touting how wonderful it is for weight loss. While how great the product is for weight loss is to be known, Molly allegedly cannot testify whether it works or not. According to sources close to her, Molly’s weight loss is a combination of having a balloon inserted in her stomach, and “weight-loss injections” she injected in her belly for six weeks post-surgery and liposuction. She may be touting Plexus as the next weight loss miracle – which it may just be – but Molly’s weight loss is allegedly not a result of the Plexus supplements and plan. In conclusion…… Allegedly shopping for engagement rings with one man and then showing him her Single Life contract the next minute. Verbally abusing her “BFF’ for years, reminding her who the bigger star is. Finally, one day flipping out and physically assaulting her “BFF.” Convince a man she is in a relationship for love, and he leaves his comfort zone to start a new life. He discovers it’s all a fraud; she’s been messaging other men sending imitate photos behind his back. Her weight loss is not what people think. Her daughter is out of control, allegedly scaring employees and showing up to work whenever she pleases. But Molly will not let go of her image. She is Molly Hopkins, the Southern Belle of 90 Day Fiancé, and she will not let her image be tarnished. But Molly, there is an old saying: what happens in the dark eventually comes to light. This is some CRAZY sh*t! I feel really sad for Cynthia and Kelly…if this is all true (and you seem to have backed up every assertion with bulletproof facts), they have been real victims in this fiasco! Reply
I TOO FEEL SO BAD FOR CYNTHIA & KELLY. THEN THE YOUNG GIRL KENSLEY. POOR CHILD HAS TO SEE & LIVE AROUND ALL HER MOM’S DRAMA. MOLLY IS MORE FOCUSED ON HERSELF & ALL OVER THE PLACE, HAS NO TIME TO RAISE HER CHILD, SO SAD. THAT ELDEST DAUGHTER IS A COPY OF MOLLY. THEY SAY “CHILDREN LEARN WHAT THEY LIVE”… MOLLY WILL MEET KARMA SOON ENOUGH. Reply
